The primary purpose of the Denver Gateway Center Metropolitan District (the "District") is to finance and construct public facilities and improvement needed for the development of the commercial property and to dedicate, when appropriate, such improvements to the City of to such other entity as may be appropriate for the use and benefit of the District's taxpayers.
The District’s original Service Plan was approved by the City Council of the City and County of Denver on July 21, 1997 by Ordinance No. 618, Series 1997. Following a public election held on October 4, 1997, The District Court entered an Order and Decree Creating the District on November 13, 1997.
The Amended and Restated Service Plan was approved on September 13, 2004.
